What it addresses
The applicable reference depends on whether the conical flask is narrow-necked, wide-necked or fitted with a conical ground joint. These standards address defined series, dimensions and construction requirements for the relevant flask types.
Note
Not every Erlenmeyer flask, screw-cap flask, baffled flask, filtration flask or specialised culture flask falls within the same standard. Approximate graduations are not precision volumetric calibration, and standard applicability must be checked against the exact design.

Wall-build, neck and closure options may be considered for the application, provided thermal behaviour, mechanical stability, geometry, joint or closure compatibility and any claimed standard requirements remain verified.
