What it addresses
ISO 1042 specifies requirements for one-mark volumetric flasks, including relevant design, construction, capacity and metrological characteristics for laboratory use.
Note
An ISO reference does not by itself prove that every flask, capacity, batch or certificate conforms. Conformity must be supported by the applicable product specification, inspection and calibration or capacity-testing evidence. ISO 1042 is currently published but is under revision, so the applicable edition must be confirmed when an order is placed.
Wall-build customisation
Alternative wall-build options may be evaluated for handling, durability or application needs, provided the requested construction does not compromise capacity, geometry, stability, thermal performance or any requirement applicable to the claimed standard. A heavier wall alone does not establish higher accuracy or ISO conformity.

Calibration can be supported through an appropriately accredited ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory, subject to requested scope and certificate type.

Where a certificate is issued, a permanent verification link can support customer-generated QR labels without embedding private records.
Inspection
Form, workmanship, markings and supplied configuration are checked against the selected item and agreed inspection scope.
Packaging
Inner protection, cartons and export handling are planned around product geometry, quantity and destination.
Documentation
Commercial and technical documents are supplied according to the selected item, certificate scope and quotation.
